Our journey
The Beginning
7eleven Technologies was founded in Kampala, Uganda by a group of engineers who believed African developers could compete on the global stage. We started with three people, one shared desk, and a conviction that software engineering done right could transform businesses.
First Major Client
Within our first quarter, we landed a contract to build a mobile banking application for a Ugandan fintech startup. The app went live in 8 weeks and processed over 10,000 transactions in its first month.
Rapid Growth
Word spread. We grew to a team of 15 engineers, designers, and project managers. We launched our hosting infrastructure, began offering dedicated developer hiring, and delivered over 80 projects across East Africa, Europe, and North America.
AI Integration
We integrated AI into our development workflow and began offering AI-powered solutions to clients. From intelligent chatbots to automated testing pipelines, AI became a core part of how we build.
Global Reach
We now serve clients across 3 continents. Our hosting infrastructure supports hundreds of websites. Our developer hiring network includes vetted engineers across multiple countries and tech stacks.
